She is survived by: her husband Neil T. Rees; her sons, Shawn A. Rees of Olean, Shane T. Rees of Olean and Dakota L. Spencer of Olean; her grandchildren, Aurora B. Rees, Forest T. Rees of Providence, Brenton C. Luka and Kayden M. Spencer of Olean; her sister-in-law Susan M. Black of Olean; her sister Stephanie D. Hall Easterly; and also, Sherril L. Weitzel (James) of Allegany and Carol Spencer of Olean.
Never one to back down from a fight Ellen helped her husband recover from Covid but lost her own battle with the disease.
