She was predeceased by: her son-in-law Edward Kernan; and her siblings-in-law, June Messer, Jim Messer and Peg Messer. She is survived by: her parent Edward; her spouse William C. Messer; her children, Patty Greene (Bob) of Chittenango, Joan Robertson (Doug) of Horseheads, Don Messer (Jean) of Harrisville, Marsha Kernan of Syracuse and Tom Messer (Barb) of Olean; her great grandchildren, Maddox Toussant and Lilly Jo Cota; and her sister Nancy Wheeler of Olean. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
