She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman David and Beatrice Coudriet Preston; and her sister Gwen Smith. She is survived by: her husband Joseph A. Zappia; her daughters, Corrine M. Gormont (Paul) of Oak Hill, VA and Kimberlee A. Walters (Jeff) of Cramerton, NC; her granddaughter Sky G. Gormont; and her sister Karolee Cummings (Ralph) of Johnsonburg, PA. She is also survived by 5 nieces and nephews.
