It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doreen S. Vedder in Olean, New York, who passed away on September 23, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Frederick and Ruth Harbeck Scott; her husband Richard S. Vedder; her son Jeffrey L. Hewitt; and her sister Jacqueline Scott.
She is survived by: her son Timothy C. Hewitt (Kennedy); her stepson Richard S. Vedder, Jr. of Phoenix; her grandchildren, Elizabeth L. Hewitt Raible (Sean) of Warren, PA, Rosalie A. Hewitt of Dewittville, Nolan D. Hewitt of Cuba and Ayren H. Farrand (Seth) of Cuba; her great grandchildren, Owen R. Tipton of Warren, PA, Sean Raible of Warren, PA, Conner Raible of Warren, PA and Colin Raible of Warren, PA; her sibling Caren Lindsay Scott of Wellsville; and her close friend Lisa Scanlon of Olean.
