It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Donald R. Griswold in Olean, New York, born in Hornell, New York, who passed away on January 19, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Griswold and Florence Griswold (Dougherty); and his siblings, Patrick Griswold, James Griswold (Ruth), Robert Griswold (Genevieve), Paul Griswold, Elizabeth Cipolla (Mike) and Rosemary Argentieri.

He is survived by: his sister Margaret "Peg" Griswold of Hornell; his close friend Autumn McClain; and his pet Ash. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.

The family would appreciate the courtesy of no flowers and suggest that masses be offered for the repose of his soul or contribute in his memory to St. Ann's Church of Our Lady of the Valley Parish, 27 Erie Ave., Hornell, NY 14843. Envelopes for memorial contributions will be available at the church.
