He is survived by: his wife Carol A. Platts; his children, Kevin M. Donovan (Cheryl) of Bergen, Brian P. Donovan (Caren) of Wanakena, Karen A. Austin (Arthur) of Cuba and Kathleen M. Donovan of Olean; and his grandchildren, Holly Trudgeon (Ray), Ivy Reynolds, Daniel Donovan (Jessica), Katherin Brewer (Derrick), Ella Donovan, Sarah Donovan and Sean Donovan.
