Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Della leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Paul J. Kayes and Grace E. Smith Kayes Sr.; her husband Timothy J. Vanness; her daughter Melissa Ann Vanness of Tonawanda; her granddaughter Lyra Grace Luchkiw; her brother Paul J. Kayes of Olean; and her nephews, Devin P. Kayes (Alexa Minckler) of Olean and Ethan T. Kayes (Ryan Wawrzeniec) of Olean.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home (646 E State St, Olean, NY 14760). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Letro-McIntosh-Spink Funeral Home, Inc. (646 E State St, Olean, NY 14760).
