She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Brookins and Songa Carlein Brookins; and her son Jubal. She is survived by: her husband Leonard F. Gerwitz; her sons, Robert Brookins (Andrea) and Francis Peck (Becky); and her sister Clarisse Little (Jim). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren.
