With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Clayton G. Eaton of Olean, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 25, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Clayton may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayton E. Eaton and Kathleen M. Nenno Eaton; and his brother Jon. He is survived by: his siblings, Suzanne Gaughn (Joseph) of Allegany and Thomas Eaton (Louise) of Suwannee, GA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A reception was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Casey, Halwig & Hartle Funeral Home (3128 W State St, Olean, NY 14760). Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the same location.
Memorials, if desired, may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
