With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carol A. Deforge of Olean, New York, born in Montpelier, Vermont, who passed away on March 28, 2021 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Sherman and Helen Barnsworth Sherman; her son Elmer J. DeForge, Jr.; and her siblings, Shirley Clark, Isabelle L. Reeves and John Sherman.
She is survived by: her husband Elmer J. DeForge, Sr.; her daughters, Anne Hewitt (Scott) of Olean, Tammy Earle of Barre, VT and Leslie DeForge of Florida; her grandchildren, Skylor, Riley, Nolan, Michael, Elmer III, Felicia, Christopher, Jackie, Brittany, Mark Jr., Tyler, Troy, Shannon, Seanna and Travis; and her siblings, Mavis Emmons of Vermont, Diana Richardson of Connecticut and Kenneth "Stub" Sherman (Ruth) of Vermont. She is also survived by many great grandchildren.
