With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alfred J. Morehouse in Olean, New York, born in Cuba, New York, who passed away on April 7, 2023 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin J. Morehouse and Gwendolen Winans Morehouse; his daughter Deborah Warren; and his siblings, Allan J. Morehouse and Sylvia Ann Landon.
He is survived by: his wife Bessie A. Morsman; and his children, Dale Lockwood (Connie) of Friendship, George Ritter (Dessie) of Friendship, Todd Morehouse of Cuba, Barbara Lockwood of Ithaca and Betty Warner of Ithaca. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages memorials be made to St. Jude's Childrens Research Hospital or to a Shriners Hospital of the donor's choice.
