He was predeceased by: his wife Rosemary LaJoy (LaFlair); his parents, Alfred LaJoy and Cora LaJoy (Smith); his siblings, Harry LaJoy, Junior LaJoy and Helen; and his grandson Nathan LaJoy.
He is survived by: his children, Thomas LaJoy, Jr. (Josephine) of Moores Forks, NY, Jamie LaJoy (Kimberly) of Mauk, GA, Debra Brenno (Tim Evans) of Brier Hill, NY, Kimberly Gilmore (Richard) of Chazy, NY, Diane LaJoy of Ogdensburg, NY and Stacy LaJoy of Ogdensburg, NY; and his grandchildren, Katrina LaJoy, Danielle LaJoy, April Fullerton (Spearance), Dylan Brenno, Alyssa Brenno, Ashley Gilmore, Courtney Gilmore, Lindsey Gilmore, Jamie Rosemary Ray (LaJoy), Tanner LaJoy, Casey Sharlow, McKenzie Sharlow, Colin LaJoy and Brittney Rheome. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
