He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph D. Armstrong and Harriet Lorraine Armstrong (Poaps). He is survived by: his sons, Joseph J. Armstrong (Blake) of Ogdensburg and Ross Armstrong (Sarah Primeau) of Richmond, VA.; his sisters, Susan Fox of Ogdensburg, Judith Seymour (Robert) of Ogdensburg and Brenda Merritt of Ogdensburg; his grandchildren, Brennan Cota Armstrong, Axil Slayde Armstrong, Allie Armstrong and Logan Primeau; his nieces, Alissa Baker (Paul) and Cheryl Seymour; and his nephew Adam Seymour (Jeff Danby). He is also survived by his son's half-brother.
