He was predeceased by: his father Ralph W. "Peanut" Matthews. He is survived by: his mother Sally J. Matthews (Allen); his wife Kim Woods; his siblings, Doug Matthews and Buffy Matthews (Robert Wilson); his nieces and nephews, Brittany Daniels, Matthew Hall, Isaac, Nolan, Kinsley and Owen; his stepson Hunter Sharlow; his parents-in-law, Nelson and Cathy Woods; and his siblings-in-law, April (Jake Randall) and Kevin. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the French Funeral Home Inc. (188 Main St, Edwards, NY 13635). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
