We are sad to announce that on February 16, 2023, at the age of 96, Jean V. Chase Seeley of Ogdensburg, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her siblings, Hugh, Edith Martin and Catherine King; her siblings-in-law, Sheila Soper, Charlotte Nicolette (Spriggs), Lee Chase, Marion Chase, Jacob Martin, Martin King, Alton Chase, Lawrence Spriggs and Joseph Nicolette; her parents, James P. McCartin and Edith Henry McCartin; her former husband Clarence D. Chase, Jr.; and her spouse Meryle V. Seeley.
She is survived by: her children, Wayne Martin Chase (Gail) of Cicero, NY, Donna Jean Bentley (Henry "Hank") of Ogdensburg, NY and Gary J. Chase (Pam) of Hamlin, NY; her stepchildren, Pam Morley (Tim) of Ogdensburg, NY, Linda Davison (Ward) of Ogdensburg, NY and Steve Seeley of Fort Lauderdale, FL; and her grandchildren, Wayne Chase, Jr., Michael Chase, Craig Bentley, Cathy Bentley McDonald, Cassandra LaRock, Christopher Chase, Eric Chase, Matthew Morley, Marc Morley, Brooke Wears (Morley), Jeff Lalonde, Nicole Renne and Brian Lalonde. She is also survived by many great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
