He was predeceased by: his parents, George Haller and Dora Haller (Edsall); his daughter Mary Lee Johnson (Haller); and his son-in-law Matthew Fitzgerald. He is survived by: his wife B. Carolyn Haller (Hicks); his children, Nancy Fitzgerald (Haller) of Hermosa Beach, CA, Cynthia Storms (Haller) and Philip (Oksana Haller) of Peoria, AZ; and his brother Louis J. Haller of North Carolina. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; and by many special nieces and nephews.
