He was predeceased by : his son Bradley Cooper; and his sisters, Cindy and Nancy. He is survived by : his son Brett Cooper of Delaware; his brother Herbert Cooper (Wanda) of Alpine; his uncle Herb Bauman; and his close friends, Scott and Susan Wardwell. He is also survived by many niece, nephews and cousins.

A memorial service was held on Friday, June 14th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the Vedder-Scott & Zinger Funeral Home (122 N Genesee St, Montour Falls, NY 14865).
