She was predeceased by: her husband John; her siblings, Bertil Turner and Eleanor Anderson; and her parent Vera Turner. She is survived by: her sons, John Alan (Maggie) and Charles Edward (Robyn); her grandchildren, Jennifer Leigh (Michael Tebesceff), John Daniel (Jennifer) and Ryan; her great grandchildren, Madeline, Abigail, Jack, Samuel, Samantha and Evan; and her extended family, Rose, Bruce Sellers, Michael Sellers, Joanne Sellers-Cole and Shirley Otten. She is also survived by friends and neighbors.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Jean's memory to First Presbyterian Church of Oceanside 2701 Oceanside Rd, Oceanside, NY 11572.
