“I was shocked and saddened to find this page. Ms. Hamer was my teacher in 6th, 7th and 8th grades in the early 80's, and since our school is planning a reunion, I googled her name... only to find her obituary. Ms. Hamer was a dedicated and innovative teacher, from having us read novels by her favorite author (Agatha Christie) to writing critiques of tv shows and more. And she was cool, driving to school in her Datsun 280zx. She had a great impact in my life. May her family be comforted.”
