He was predeceased by: his parents, Elise Keidle and Everett Shamp; his brothers, Ronald Shamp (Bev) and Adelbert Shamp (Carolyn); his children, Paul Shamp and Patricia Shamp Hinz; and his daughter-in-law Carolyn Shamp.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Shamp (Maha) of Oakfield; his son Larry Shamp of North Carolina; his son-in-law Larry Hinz Jr. of Batavia; his grandson Joseph Hinz (Robin); his great grandchild Esme Alice Hinz of Brockport; his granddaughter Suzanne Hinz Cole; his great grandchildren, Charles and Anthony Cole of East Rochester; and his siblings, Martha Jones of South Carolina, Nelli Grasso and Jerry Shamp of Largo Florida.
