He is survived by: his wife Lillian Halat of Oakfield; his children, Mary Nanni (Brian) of Basom, Leon Halat Jr. (Kathleen) of Oakfield, Nathan Halat (Bernadette) and D. C.; and his grandchildren, Lisa, Laura, Stephanie, Sebastian and Caroline. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
