He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth R. Owen and Marion Owen (Maxwell); and his brother Craig Owen. He is survived by: his wife Eileen Owen (Viterna); his sons, Eric and Brian Owen; his siblings-in-law, Mary Bonanno (John), Joseph Viterna (Ann) and David Viterna (Kelly); and his nieces and nephews, Kristy Mateja (Steven), Joann Bertolino (Andy), Olivia Doty (Josh), Jordan Bonanno, Steven Bonanno (Carmen), Zachary Viterna, Vinnie Viterna, Dominic Viterna and Heath Owen of Florida.
