Speed of Oakfield, New York, born in Batavia, New York, who passed away on December 1, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Compton and Alice Compton (Ross); and her brothers, Richard and Philip Compton. She is survived by: her husband Wayne Speed of Oakfield; her children, Pastor Jonathan Speed (Kimberly) of Azle and Julie Peterson (Trevor) of Columbia, Maryland; her grandchildren, Veronica Speed, Samantha Cox (Rory), Charles, Jonathan, Susannah Speed, Ian and Jenna Peterson; her brother James Compton (Sandy) of Bethany; and her sister-in-law Grace Compton of Varysburg.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested in Carol's name to the Oakfield-Alabama Baptist Church, 2210 Judge Road, Oakfield, New York 14125.
