He is survived by: his close friend Trish; his daughters, Kerri Schlomann (Jason) of Oakdale, Erin Jones (Mathew) of Commack and Meghan Barbara (Joseph) of Oakdale; and his grandchildren, Nicholas, Christopher, Kaitlyn, Kylie, Dominick and Olivia.
Mr. Murphy was also a Co- Founding member of the Childrens Foundation of Suffolk a non-profit organization.
