She was predeceased by: her parents, Kitty Davner and Ben Weinraub. She is survived by: her husband Stephen Krinsky; her children, Scott Weiner (Azadeh) and Bonnie Bambara (Edward); her stepchildren, Adam Krinsky (Sarah) and Darlene Petroccione (Nick); and her grandchildren, Dylan, Hannah, Lily and Ebbie.

A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the I. J. Morris Funeral Home (21 E Deer Park Rd, Dix Hills, NY 11746). A burial was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 at the New Montefiore Cemetery (1180 Wellwood Ave, West Babylon, NY 11704).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Israel Defense Forces or PJ Library, organizations that were close to Karen's heart.
