Louise Staring Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 5, 2020, at the age of 91, Louise Staring (Oak Hill, New York), born in Herkimer, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Pelton and Antoinette Pelton; her husband Arthur Staring of Mohawk; her sister Mary Ann Pelton; and her nephew Garrett Pelton.
She is survived by: her brother Stewart Pelton (Barbara) of Bradenton, FL; her daughters, Gretchen Shyne (Dan) of Selkirk and Heather Melnick (Lynn Relyea) of Fairport; her grandsons, Andrew Melnick of Fairfax, VA and Daniel Melnick of Fairport; and her niece Kari Dillon of Ilion. She is also survived by cousins, great-nieces and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the scholarship fund at Elmira College, the memorial fund at St. Matthew's Church in Liverpool, or to the charity of your choice.
