It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Willie Mae Gause (Nyack, New York), who passed away on January 9, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband George F Gause; and her sister Lillie P Payton. She is survived by: her sister Lucinda Strong Humphrey; her daughters, Cassandra Horton of New Hempstead, NY and Cynthia Horton; her sisters, Vera Thompson and Doris Lockhart (Charlie III); her stepson George Fore (Nora); her sister-in-law Wilma Smith (William); her niece Kimberly Bell (Marcus); her goddaughter Nicole Sylvester; and her close friend Jane Sylvester. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces, great- great nephews, and many friends.

She remained a faithful and devoted member until the COVID-19 pandemic occurred.
