With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Mathsen (Nyack, New York), who passed away on February 23, 2019. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Nils Mathsen and Mary Mathsen; his wife MaryAnn Mathsen; his daughter Katie; his grandson Mason; his mother-in-law Kay Ferrera of Nyack; his brother Nils Mathsen of Airmont, NY; his nephew Alan Mathsen; his brother-in-law Richard Ferrera (Anne); and his nephews, Nicholas, Paul, Mark of Macungie, PA, James Ferrera (Regina) of Kentucky, Bradley and Joseph.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Richard's memory to the Orangetown Fire Co. #1 and/or St. Ann's RC Church.
