Lily Callan Obituary
Our beloved Lily passed away tragically on November 14, 2021. She leaves behind her father Chuck, mother Mary, and three sisters, Sophie, Grace, and Katie.
Lily was born on April 21, 1996, in St Vincent’s Hospital in Greenwich Village, NYC, a year to the date of her older sister Sophie. Lily found joy in and excelled at all she put her mind to. After graduating with honors from Tappan Zee High School, where she was awarded “Most Improved” and ran track, she began her Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education at Manhattan College with concentrations in Special Education, Math, and Science. To those who knew her, she is remembered for her deep caring, compassion, ability to make everyone laugh, and unbounded love for her family and friends. She was a beloved daughter, niece, and cousin, a supportive sister, and a helpful grandchild. She knew no limits to loyalty toward friends.
Though her spirit has lifted to Heaven, her joy, humor, and love will never be forgotten. She will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew her. In her honor, and in lieu of flowers, Lily would have appreciated your kindness to causes in support of special education, battered women, and conservation.
