He was predeceased by: his brother Benny May; his wife Bertha Carlas Mosley; and his siblings, Thomas, Gladys Everheart and Helen Tisdale.
He is survived by: his siblings, Hannie King May and Wallicia Tisdale. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, step children. relatives, and friends.
