He was predeceased by: his wife Carmella; his son Kevin; his sister Dorothy; and his close friend Matthew Clark. He is survived by: his children, John Peter Wanamaker (Susan Wanamaker) and Karen (Rob Henderson); his siblings, Margaret Giddies and Edgar Wanamaker; and his grandchildren, Christopher, Samantha, Peter, Clara and Daniel.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to St. Ann's Church in Nyack, NY, in honor of John's enduring commitment to his faith and community.
