Evelyn Krakower Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Evelyn Krakower (Nyack, New York), who passed away on April 20, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Sadie Wolins and Jacob Wolins; her siblings, Sylvia and Fred; her former husband Lawrence Krakower; her nieces, Arlene Simon and Randi Eaton; and her sons-in-law, Christian Basler and Lance Heiner.

She is survived by: her children, Linda Krakower Greene, Michele Krakower Heiner and Glenn Krakower (Denis Poleck); her grandchildren, Aaron Heiner, Amanda Heiner and Charles Basler; her niece Karen Koppel; her great-niece Stephanie; and her nephew Richard Baum. She is also survived by friends and fun with her siblings and many cousins.

Due to the current coronavirus social distancing restrictions, a memorial service in her honor will be postponed until a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Montefiore Nyack Hospital, or to the United Hospice of Rockland.
