We are sad to announce that on January 25, 2022, at the age of 92, Charles DeGroat of Nyack, New York, born in Oneonta, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Charles (Arline DeGroat), Stephen DeGroat of Nyack, NY and Kathleen (John Benz); his grandchildren, Christopher, Phillip, Michael, Gregory, Matthew, Nicole DeGroat, Nicholas and Jessica Benz; his siblings, Mary Jo Carlon of Poughkeepsie, NY, James DeGroat, Edward DeGroat and Ann Herfurth; and his parents, Marguerite DeGroat, and Charles W. DeGroat, Sr.. He was also cherished by many great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
