She was predeceased by: her parents, James Jackson and Ruth Jackson (Willie Mark Boone); and her siblings, Mamie White, Fredrick White, Steven White, Richard Nash and Walter White.

She is survived by: her daughter Maia Jackson-Carswell; her son-in-law Lee Carswell; her granddaughter Jazmin Lanelle Jackson; and her sisters, Christine Jackson, Cynthia Jean-Charles and Barbara Carnes.
