It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Brenda Sutherland of Nyack, New York, who passed away on July 11, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Leo Kaplan and Sarah Kaplan; her children, Jennifer and Alexander; her son-in-law Justin; her grandchildren, Oscar and Louisa; her stepchildren, Betsy, Janet and Gail; and her brother Eric.

Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the New York Botanical Gardens.
