He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Evans Sr. and Henrietta Eliott Evans; his significant other Sarah Haynes Evans; his siblings, William Evans Jr. and Bernice Biddings; and his children, Monroe Perkins (Helen), Calvin Evans Jr. (Myrlande) and Deborah Evans (Ricky). He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in memory Calvin Evans to charity of one's choice or to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
