It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Freeman of Nyack, New York, born in Biscoe, North Carolina, who passed away on November 10, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Maness and Elizabeth Maness; her siblings, Martha Williams and James Maness Jr.; and her son Willis Freeman.
She is survived by: her siblings, Donna Smith (Lewis) and Eugene Butler Jr. Barbara; her children, Rickey Freeman (Ann) and Donna Freeman of Nyack; her grandchildren, Kara Freeman, Kendra Freeman, Willis Freeman, Tanya Freeman, Tasha Roach, Troy Freeman (Jasmine), Rickey Freeman and Eddie Freeman; and her great grandchildren, Zion Freeman, Jeremiah Freeman, Cross Freeman, Gia Freeman, Azari Michel and Alanna Freeman. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and very loving friends.
