It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Merlin G. Sonnleitner of Nunda, New York, born in Buffalo, New York, who passed away on December 28, 2020, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver J. Sonnleitner and Violet M. Wilcox Sonnleitner; and his sister Pamela James. He is survived by: his wife Joanne Hanbach Sonnleitner; his children, Troy Sonnleitner (Sarah) of Raynham, MA, Kammy Snyder (Darren) of Nunda and Sandra Jacobs (Ron) of Nunda; his siblings, Melvin Sonnleitner of Hunt, Karen Lucas (George) of Nunda, Brenda Bivona of Florida and Deborah Beardsley (Tom) of Hunt; his brother-in-law Michael James of Hunt; and his grandchildren, Hannah, Rebecca Snyder, Haili Sonnleitner and Malachi Sonnleitner. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid, a private memorial will be held at the Dalton Assembly of God with Pastor Patrick Thompson.
