He was predeceased by: his mother Nancy James Geens; his brother Justin James; and his aunt Sheila Parrinello. He is survived by: his father David Geens; his wife Regina Vattimo James; his children, Jacob James of Nunda, Joshua James of Nunda and Cheyenne James of Nunda; his half-sister Vickie Evans (Reginald) of Corning; and his stepsiblings, Rose Mullen (Gary) of Canisteo, Michelle Dillen (James) of Batavia and Lonnie Geens (Wendy) of Nunda. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers the family ask for memory pages to be added to a scrap book.
