He was predeceased by: his parents, Stewart Thompson and Dora Rumfelt Thompson; and his brother Robert A. Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Barbara A. Beardsley; his children, Shannon Thompson of Nunda and Yvonne Bennett (Troy) of Nunda; his grandchildren, Bryce Bennett, McKenzy Bennett, Nathan Thompson and Nicholas Thompson; and his brother Clair Thompson (Pam) of Cuylerville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
