He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Kunkle and Almeta Kunkle (Burkholder); his former wife Geraldine Ruth Kunkle (Martin); his stepdaughter Mary Teresa Coleman; and his brother Paul Kunkle.
He is survived by: his wife Sonya Kunkle (Dupell); his children, Sharon (Dennis Stauffer) of Apple Creek, OH, Gary Lee (Bertha), Bradley Lynn (Danabeth), Bryan Scott (Beatrice), Beverly Ann (Dean Musser) of Colorado Springs, CO and David Eric (Sheree); his stepsons, Mark Richard Lucksinger (Kelli) of Highland, NY and John Eric Lucksinger (Terri) of Smyrna, TN; and his siblings, Lawrence Kunkle (Mary) of Denver, CO, Ray Kunkle (Wilma) of Ephrata, Roy Kunkle (Gloria) of Bowmansville, Albert "Sonny" Kunkle (Vera) of East Earl, Pearl Burkholder (Dean) of Martindale, Irene Martin (Larry) of Virginia and Brenda Stauffer (Gary) of Ephrata. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 7 step-grandchildren, and 32 great-grandchildren.
