It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Ames of Norwood, New York, born in Potsdam, New York, who passed away on August 31, 2020, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Ames and Iona Ames (Carpenter); and his brother Gregory Ames. He is survived by: his aunt Shirley Burns of Ogdensburg; and his close friend Bill "Gratto" Grady of Norwood.
Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Norwood Volunteer Fire Department.
