It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William O. Lorenz of Norwich, New York, born in Riverhead, New York, who passed away on February 12, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Lorenz and Madeline Lorenz (Payne); and his siblings, Doug, Fred, Jack, David, Paul and RuthAnn.
He is survived by: his children, Jean Tritt (Jeff) of Rainbow City, AL, Ken Lorenz (Paula) of Norwich and Patricia Golicki of Cincinnatus, NY; his stepsons, Ed Leighton (Donna), Craig Leighton, John Leighton, Albert Leighton (Kellie) and Stephen Leighton; and his grandchildren, Sean Lorenz (Gena), Rachel Volzer (David), Elizabeth Golicki, Leo Golicki and Jacquelyn Golicki. He is also survived by nine step grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and seven step great-grandchildren.
