He is survived by: his wife Beverly Maynard; his son Sheridan "Dan" Maynard; his stepchildren, Terri, Roland Lewis, Connie, Brian Lewis, Howard, Carrie Whitney, Penny, Brian Gage and John Powers; and his siblings, Ruth Allen (Maynard), Robert Maynard, James Maynard, Margaret Maynard Murray, Frank Maynard Jr. and Donald Maynard.
