He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas E. Downey and Eleanor M. Downey; his brothers, John R. Downey and Dennis R. Downey; and his stepson Philip R. Constable.

He is survived by: his fiancée Kathleen E. Constable of Norwich; his brothers, Terry L. Downey of Norwich, Douglas J. Downey and Thomas R. Downey of Oxford; his sister-in-law Annie Downey of Norwich; his children, Amanda and Bryan; his stepchildren, Katrina, Benjamin Newman and Tabitha Constable; his grandchildren, Philip, Camden, Kadence and Kristen; his parents-in-law, Elaine and Don Snow; and his pet Lucy. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Pat's memory may be made to Hospice of Chenango County, 33-39 Court St. Norwich.
