She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Joseph Brennan and Sarah Margaret Tansey Brennan; her husband Robert Emmet McCarthy; her siblings, Mary Elizabeth Brennan Brooker, William Francis Brennan and Patricia Ann Brennan; her siblings-in-law, Lawrence Brooker and Judy Brennan; her nephew Dr. Matthew Brennan; and her close friends, Dr. Parker Ward of Norwich, Jane Higley of Norwich and Mary Spano of Norwich.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Patrick McCarthy of Leland, Allison, Rachel and Patrick Michael McCarthy of Fairfax, Virginia.; and her close friends, Virginia Quinn of Norwich, Ed Capria of Norwich, Marie Dykstra of Norwich, John McGraw of Norwich, Lil Curnalia of Norwich, Jessica Thompson of Norwich and Mary Ward of Norwich. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
