He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Collier and Mary Collier (Walsh); his sons, Russell and Trenton; his stepmother Darthy Collier; and his sister Julia Crast.

He is survived by: his daughter Heather Felter; his granddaughter Chloe Fredenburg; his sisters, Dawn Anderson (Jon) and Kathryn Conant (Eric); his in-laws, Martin Sayles, Margaret Wilcox and Evelyn Sayles; his friends, Dick Nowak, David Whaley, Frank Brady and Marilyn Hamstra; and his wife Linda Sayles. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
