He was predeceased by: his parents, Jay Towne and Veda Towne (Miller); and also, Elene Lozon, Phyllis Rentz, Mary Towne, Raymond Towne and James Trzpuc.
He is survived by: his siblings, Roger Towne (Marsha) and Eileen Trzpuc; his nephew Mark Trzpuc; and his niece Jennifer Lawrence. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 16th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Myslinski, Kowalczyk & Nunn Funeral Directors (470 French Rd, Utica, NY 13502). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, October 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Leo - St. Ann Catholic Church (7939 Elm St, Holland Patent, NY 13354).
In lieu of flowers, remembrances in James' name may be made to St. Leo – St. Ann Church Memorial Fund.
