Harold Gardner Obituary

The memory of Harold Gardner (Norwich, New York), born in Athol, Massachusetts, who passed away on November 22, 2024 at the age of 73, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Gardner and Ruth Gardner (Grover); his brother George K. Gardner; his parents-in-law, Howard Cuyle and Anna Cuyle (Dean); and his brother-in-law William Golden.

He is survived by: his wife Diane; his stepsons, Scott Downey (Allison) of Penfield, NY and Ryan Downey (Katy) of Chenango Forks, NY; his brother Robert Gardner of Weymouth, MA; his grandchildren, Maxwell Downey, Eleanor Downey, Gretchen Downey and Jack Downey; and his siblings-in-law, Gerald Cuyle (Brenda), Donna Cuyle, Sandi Lent (Rusty), Susan Evans (Neal), Lori Ericksen (Butch) and Lisa Castle (Mike). He is also survived by several Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the R. J. Fahy Funeral Home (116 N Broad St, Norwich, NY 13815).

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Air Force Aid Society.
