He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Whiting and Clara Whiting (Hartman); and his siblings, Robert, Paul, Katherine (Pierce) and Patricia (Warner).
He is survived by: his wife Joan Whiting (Famolaro); his children, Christine Towner (Rick), Carol Lyons (Eric) and Ronald Whiting (Lisa); and his grandchildren, Candace (Hector), Dylan, Caleb, Ashley, Sianna, Samantha, Cheyanne, Thomas, Ashlyn and Shalyn. He is also survived by great-grandchildren; nephews, and nieces.
